Firstly, my work; Recent Exhibitions: 2011 Zion National Park Museum 2010 St. George, Utah Art Museum 2008 - St. George, Utah Art Museum 2008 St. George, Utah Art Museum 2008 DeZion Gallery Springdale Utah My main creative influences derive from somewhat diverse areas including early photographic themes, modern music and Abstract Expressionism. My singular iconic ideal is Georgia O'Keeffe - strong, clear and female, from New York to Texas to Taos with many adventures in between. Of great influence on my perceptions of the world are paintings by Helen Frankenthaler Paul Klee and Mark Rothko. In 2008 My "Storm Over West Temple" painting was chosen for publication in a printed celebration of Zion Painters; past and present.
Current Explorations I've begun to explore metal as a creative medium and have created a number of silver pieces. My jewelry is available here in the Jewelry Gallery, at DeZion Gallery and the Zion National Park Museum, both located in Zion Canyon Utah, USA. All pieces are custom, hand-made jewelry; commissions are welcome! If you would like a custom design, please call: Paintings are available at DeZion Gallery in Springdale, Utah and the Zion National Park Museum. |

Lastly, the future; These past few years have introduced me to many new avenues. The artwork continues and the art of living continues to expand. I would like to share one of these avenues by linking to sites that can change our future, please read on: Photo credit: Jim Harlan - Zion Event Photos |

Solar cooking is a resource that southern dwellers can tap into by harnessing our daily resource: planet Sun! Visit www.SolarCookers.org and I've begun to cook the majority of my food in my Sun Oven and friends continue to enjoy samples of the unique, delicious texture of sun baked goodness. I think it's amazing that we can harness 300 - 350F on a sunny day. I think it's amazing that food does not burn in the solar oven. I think it's amazing that many in southern, sunny climates are unaware of solar cooking! If you are interested in more information, email me with recipe requests and starting points... a solar adventure awaits!
